Help to Improve Soft Skills (HISS)

Help to Improve Soft Skills (HISS)

HISS is a project funded by the Leonardo da Vinci European Union Programme. The project will encourage local businesses, schools, colleges and recruitment organisations to apply a Toolbox of Soft Skills and methodologies into their professional development programmes.

Approach

The project will develop a Toolbox of Soft Skills aligned with the needs of the labour market and focuses on self-development, self-marketing and communication skills, all of which are attractive to employers. The aim is to communicate clearly and openly with staff and balance the objectives of the company with individual employee needs.

  • Pilot the adapted tools with SMEs to assess their suitability
  • Support the evaluation process of the Toolbox of Soft Skills
  • Lead on dissemination and exploitation of the project activities and evaluation
